Arri did some exceptional engineering and research goes into creating one of the most powerful yet compact lights. Arris cross cooling system helps reduce the lamps internal housing temperatures by 25% while reducing the lens temperatures by 17%. The aluminum structure also has special vents built that allow a constant stream of air to pass around the lens and in the lamp head. This airflow stays constant regardless of the light’s tilt angle.

Fitted with a 1000W bulb the light is capable of creating a 2.8 feet diameter beam of 409 footcandles from a 20 foot distance in a full spot setting. For a full flood setting you have a 20.4 feet diameter beam of 43 footcandles from the same distance.
